Chinese tech giant Xiaomi shipped more than 16.97 million smart wearables domestically in 2018, up 20.5 percent year-on-year, ranking No. 1 among all vendors in China, new data released by market research company IDC shows.

A total of 73.21 million units of smart wearables, including smart watches, bracelets, and earphones, were shipped in China, up by 28.5% year-on-year.
