Entrepreneur First (EF), the London-founded accelerator, launched a Singapore programme to help build Singapore’s startup and innovation community in 2016, which since has had 2,400 applications from aspiring entrepreneurs. EF has already built over 26 businesses in Singapore with a collective investment commitment of over S$20 million (over US$ 15 million) from leading venture capital firms Wavemaker, Cocoon Capital, SGInnovate and more.
EF funds individuals to help build co-founding teams, develop ideas, and accelerate through fundraising from the world’s best investors.
Alex Crompton, Managing Direction of EF Singapore, said that EF has experienced exceptional growth, with the current EF founder network over 1000 strong across Asia and Europe. The momentum built since the expansion to Singapore and Hong Kong 2 years ago are propelling their excitement to help future cohorts.
